How to choose a web development company

Short answer

Look at live sites they built and test them on your phone, ask who will actually work on your project, get a written scope with milestones, confirm you will own the code, domain and hosting, and check how they handle SEO, speed and support after launch.

Check real work, not mockups

Open their live client sites on your phone. Are they fast? Is the text readable? Do forms work? A portfolio of images says less than a working site.

Ask about ownership

You should own the code, domain, hosting and all accounts. Avoid setups where the agency keeps the domain in its own name.

Written scope and milestones

A good team writes down pages, features and what is not included, then shows progress on a preview link.

Near me or remote?

A local team is easier to meet. A remote team can be just as reliable if communication is clear and time zones overlap. Many of our clients in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Dubai, London and New York have never needed an in person meeting.

Is a cheap web developer a good idea?

Low cost can work for a simple site, but check that you own everything and that the site is fast and secure. Fixing a poorly built site later often costs more time than doing it right once.

What questions should I ask a web agency?

Who will work on it, what is included, how long it will take, who owns the code and domain, how SEO is handled, and what happens after launch.
