Challenge
Pactrum makes stand-up zipper pouches and other flexible packaging, and most buyers are small food, spice, tea and snack brands that need packaging in small runs. Ordering used to mean calls and messages to check sizes, stock, GST and delivery. Pactrum needed a website where a business can pick the right pouch, pay online with the correct tax and follow the order to its door, while the team runs orders, stock and refunds from one place.
Approach
MaJe Technologies designed and built Pactrum as a mobile-first B2B store with Astro, React and Tailwind CSS, running on Cloudflare Pages with Pages Functions and a Cloudflare D1 database. The catalogue groups every pouch by family, finish and size, with search and filters, and the cart follows the factory rule of 100 pieces and steps of 100. Checkout runs through Razorpay, and the server works out GST on its own: CGST and SGST for Gujarat, IGST for other states, with an optional GSTIN for business invoices. Payments are checked with signed verification and Razorpay webhooks, so paid, failed and refunded orders always show the right status. Customers sign in with Google or email through Firebase and can track an order with its reference and email or phone. After payment, staff call the customer, confirm the expected delivery, hand the parcel to a courier and enter the courier name, phone and tracking number, which the customer sees on the tracking page. Admins manage staff roles, inventory and stock, GST and shipping settings, full or partial refunds and an activity log. For search, the site has a packaging guide, quote requests and keyword landing pages for each pouch type, with FAQ and structured data on every page.
Outcome
Pactrum now takes packaging orders online from businesses across India, with clear tax, simple tracking and a staff workflow that keeps every order moving from payment to delivery.
