Challenge
Planning a trip in India means picking from a huge number of places, then working out how many days to spend, what to see each day and roughly what it will cost. Most travel sites show lists of places but leave the actual planning to you.
Approach
MaJe Technologies designed and built Discover Bharat as a trip planning website that does the planning with you. A short travel-style quiz asks what kind of trip you want and points you to a destination that fits. Every state of India has its own destination page, and about-place pages explain what makes a place like Jammu & Kashmir special. Once you choose a place, you pick the trip duration and a budget category, and the site uses Google's Gemini AI model to build a day-by-day tour itinerary, along with an approximate budget breakdown and local tips. The site is built with React JS, HTML and CSS and is designed mobile first, so it works well on phones.
Outcome
Travellers can go from not knowing where to go to a personalized India trip plan, with daily stops, a rough budget and local tips, in one place.
