Hiring an Indian Web Agency from the USA, UK or UAE: A Quality-First Checklist
· MaJe Research Team
Choosing a development partner in another country is a process decision more than a geography decision. The best Indian studios work to the same standards as agencies in London, New York or Dubai. Here is the checklist we would use if we were hiring ourselves.
1. Ask for a written process, not a promise
A good partner can show you, in writing, how a project moves from brief to launch: discovery, design sign-off, staged builds on a preview URL, QA and handover. If milestones are vague, quality will be too.
2. Check real performance, not screenshots
Open their live projects on your phone. Run them through PageSpeed Insights. A studio that ships fast, accessible sites for itself will ship them for you.
3. Confirm your working-hour overlap
- UK and Europe: India overlaps your full afternoon.
- UAE and Saudi Arabia: only 1.5 to 2.5 hours apart, effectively the same day.
- USA: overlap with the US morning, plus async updates that land before you wake up.
4. Sign an NDA before the brief
Your partner should sign your NDA, or offer theirs, before you share anything sensitive. Code, footage and ad accounts should be owned by you.
5. Make sure you can edit it yourself
Ask how you will update text, images and projects after launch. If the answer is “email us”, keep looking.
